What is a DOMIC?

Some unique sets are labeled as “DOMIC”, what is this? Below I quote correspondence with my friend from the USA who first asked this question:

Friend: - What is "DOMIC" supposed to mean on the new minifigures? It's next to a "diamond" shape. Do you use the word to indicate quality? In English "Domic" means relating to, shaped like, or having a dome. It can be used as an adjective or an adverb. So Do you use the word in reference to a "dome" mask?

Me:- I didn't realize the word was used in that context. :) I assumed, or rather coined the acronym D.O.M.I.C. - Diamond Of My Individual Collection. or DOMIC - Diamond Of My Independent Clans. ‘Domic’ in Russian means a small house. But I generally assumed that this was an abbreviation after all. I didn't know what to call this type of set. Many under this designation are in fact in a single copy, will I be able to do something similar? In principle, yes, but exactly the same is unlikely.

Friend: - Oh! It is not an abbreviation used in English before. I just did a search. But it's creative. They are a "small" one-of-a-kind. :D

Me: - Children also say in games 'I'm in the "domic" - like I'm in a house, I hid, I'm not playing temporarily yet) although the translation "under the dome" is quite suitable)) it can also be interpreted as a "DOMInant Clan" ;)
Now I am tormented by vague doubts))) 99% of them probably won't understand, although I deciphered this abbreviation in the card. Well, I didn't want to slide into designations like vsop xo, after all, not cognac and whiskey. ))) the meaning of "under the dome", in principle, is also suitable - they are now in my personal collection in their "small house" On the other hand, a little intrigue does not hurt))) let them think what they want. There are different ways to decipher it. In any case, the designation "domic" means that I took more trouble with this figure than with others and did it essentially for myself. It is necessary to show my collection on the site, not all visitors come from social networks. Maybe we should post our correspondence about domic to the public? Lol :D Maybe it will be useful to someone)

Friend: - Lol. Sure. :)
